Karen Storey writes book club fiction filled with dilemma, sometimes dark, but often with humour. Her recent novel won the Writers & Artists Turn the Page Competition. She also writes short stories which have been published, placed and listed in several competitions, including Alpine Fellowship, Hissac, Cranked Anvil and Scottish Arts Trust.

Born and raised in New York City, she now lives in Warwickshire with her husband, who brings her endless cups of tea while writing; a dog who thinks he's a cat, and an actual cat who crashes her zoom calls. She has written feature articles for American in Britain magazine.
