Scam warning

There is an knave operating out of the United States, using the identity of myself and my authors, as well as other agents. He or she claims to be working on behalf of HarperCollins or Penguin Random House, saying that they would like to acquire novels, and in the doing so defrauding them of thousands of pounds.

For fiction, please attach a document containing: a synopsis – no more than 1 page of A4 – plus the first 30 pages of your novel.

For non-fiction, please attach a proposal – with an overview of the book and a sample of your writing (up to 15,000 words). You can find more about book proposals here.
