Lindsay Johnstone writes voice-driven literary non-fiction rooted in the west coast of Scotland, exploring intergenerational trauma and mental health.
She was the recipient of a John Byrne Award in 2022 and was awarded a place on Creative Scotland's Our Voices programme in 2021. A former teacher of English, she has written for the Herald and BBC Bitesize.
Lindsay lives in Glasgow with her husband and two daughters, and works for a national literacy charity.
