This is Our Undoing shortlisted for the inaugural Kavya Prize

Lorraine Wilson’s masterful SFF novel This is Our Undoing has been shortlisted for The Kavya Prize, which aims to celebrate published work and new writing by Scotland’s ethnically diverse communities.

Set in a near-future Europe fracturing under climate change and far-right politics, This is Our Undoing asks the terrible question: Could you condemn one child to save another?

The prize will be awarded in May 2022 and is worth £1000. The winner will also receive a residency at Moniack Mhor, Scotland’s National Writing Centre.

This shortlisting is joins a clutch of other prize listings for the book, including being shortlisted for The Subjective Chaos Kind of Awards, and longlisted for the British Science Fiction Association awards.
